VE Day Poppies Tower of London

VE Day Tower of London - A Moment to Remember

For VE Day we marked a truly special moment at the Tower of London, as the nation came together to honour VE Day and remember those who served during the Second World War.

As part of the commemorations, Orbis Conservation had the honour of meeting the Queen at this historic site. It was a proud and humbling experience, made even more meaningful by the powerful setting and shared sense of remembrance.

Remembering Through the V Day Tower of London Poppies

The V Day Tower of London Poppies stand as a strong symbol of sacrifice, resilience, and peace. Displayed at one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks, the poppies remind us of the lives affected by war and the importance of protecting both people and heritage for future generations.

At Orbis Conservation, we believe that conservation is not only about nature, but also about preserving stories, places, and moments that connect us to our shared past.

A Collective Effort

This project was only possible thanks to the dedication of many individuals and organisations. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this project to life. Your hard work and care made this day truly unforgettable.

We are incredibly proud to have played a part in such a meaningful event and to stand alongside others who value remembrance, respect, and conservation.

Looking Forward

As we reflect on VE Day and the V Day Tower of London Poppies, we are reminded of why remembrance matters. By honouring the past, we can continue to build a more thoughtful and sustainable future.
